KONTERRA. The developers of Konterra did a short substantive and visual slide show. The project is very large and will have a direct impact on West Laurel -- traffic, school congestion, new interchange in I-95, and demand for county services. See the Konterra web site for specifications.

As many of you have noticed the Gould family has actively been clearing and grading a large tract of land east of I-95 along Virginia Manor and Van Dusen roads which is the next phase of Konterra. As a result there has been a number of issues with run-off and pollution.  The Anacostia Watershed has posted a link on the IMPACTS OF KONTERRA.
